Welcome to our special webcast recording of this year’s Gaelic competition, showcasing the talent of young Gaelic speakers and musicians!

This event brings together competitors aged 17 and under, including many students from Gaelic Medium Education, to celebrate the beauty of the Gaelic language through song and poetry. With a particularly strong entry from Goodlyburn Primary School, Perth Academy, and Morrison’s Academy, the performances reflect both dedication and passion for Scotland’s rich linguistic and musical heritage.

Our adjudicators for the competition were Craig White, overseeing language, and Maureen Rutherford, judging the musical performances. Their expertise and insight have helped to highlight the skill and creativity of all our competitors.
