Day 9 – Brass (morning)

adminWebcast 2025

This session showcases the incredible talent of young brass musicians competing at Levels 2 and 3. You’ll hear a fantastic variety of performances from players of Euphoniums, French Horns, Trumpets, and Trombones, demonstrating their skill, dedication, and passion for music.

This afternoon’s competitions were adjudicated by Katrina Marzella-Wheeler, a distinguished musician born in Edinburgh. With a remarkable career as an instrumentalist, conductor, and teacher, Katrina was the solo baritone horn player of the world-famous Black Dyke Band from 2011 to 2020. Her expertise and insight have been invaluable in guiding and inspiring these young performers.

A huge thank you to Perth and Kinross Instrumental Music Service and all the dedicated teachers who support and nurture the next generation of brass players. Your encouragement and hard work make events like this possible!

Now, sit back and enjoy the performances from these talented musicians—this is Perform in Perth 2025!
